Selenite is a beautiful translucent stone connected to Greek mythology with a history that dates back centuries. Its name comes from the Greek word "Moonstone".

They are said to be gentle healing crystals that promote peace and calm. They are renowned for creating a harmonious and uplifting environment whilst providing mental clarity. Holding or placing selenite on or near the body can provide a sense of tranquillity and serenity. This makes them the perfect crystal for our nurturing treatments. They are also thought to protect therapists from any negative energy emanating from the client.

Selenite is a form of gypsum, a soft mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate. It is important to handle selenite with care and avoid soaking them in water. Moisture can cause the crystal to lose its lustre, become rough or chalky. To keep your selenite stones clean in between treatments we recommend using a little spritz of our Alcohol Cleansing Spray and then dry with a soft cloth.
