At Bramley, we’ve harnessed the power of a range of apple extracts throughout all of our bath, body and skincare collections.
Why apple?
The magic of apples lies in the variety of extracts we use. Different parts of the apple bring powerful unique benefits that enhance our formulations, which is why we infuse the peel, seed, flesh, and blossom into many of our products. Each of these elements is rich in nutrients and works harmoniously to nourish, hydrate, and protect the skin. Here’s how each part of the apple contributes to skin’s wellbeing:
Apple Peel
The peel is the most nutrient-rich part of the fruit, containing high levels of vitamins A, C, and K, pectin, calcium, and potassium. Its high antioxidant content neutralises free radicals, promoting a glowing complexion and supporting skin’s natural defences. The peel also contains malic acid, a gentle natural AHA that exfoliates and refines your skin’s texture.
Apple Seed
The oil derived from apple seeds is rich in essential fatty acids, including Omega 6 and Omega 9, which help deeply hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, and promote a youthful appearance. These nutrients work together to plump and smooth the skin, providing long-lasting moisture.
Apple Flesh
Filled with vitamins C and E and zinc, apple flesh helps boost collagen production, hydrate the skin, and reduce inflammation. These nutrients brighten the complexion and calm any irritation, leaving your skin soft, nourished, and radiant.
Apple Blossom
Not just a pretty flower, apple blossom is packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. This part of the apple helps to soothe irritation, calm redness, and protect the skin from environmental stress. It’s a skin-calming tonic that we include in several of our products.
